Register your OPUS card

A guarantee in case or lost or theft

When you register your OPUS card, you are covered by a replacement guarantee should your card be lost or stolen. Any remaining fares on your OPUS card at the time you reported the loss or theft will be restored.

In the event of loss or theft, go to one of the STM’s points of service and bring a photo ID card. A new OPUS card, loaded with any remaining fares, will be issued. You will only be charged the current fee to cover the cost of the new card.
